Creating rich audience experiences with VR and immersive sound

In this webiner The Space will explore how VR and immersive technologies have the power to transport people to places they might never otherwise be able to go, or to worlds outside their experience or imagination.

‘I felt like I was there!’

Immersive technologies have the power to transport people to places they might never otherwise be able to go, or to worlds outside their experience or imagination. VR and immersive sound can be tools for accessibility, and for enrichment. But what are the guiding principles? How do you decide whether this is a route for your work, or your audience? What’s possible with either a high end or a more restricted budget?

We’ll cover

  • What kinds of experiences can you create in 360 or 180 VR?
  • How can VR and immersive sound enhance storytelling?
  • What’s the role of sound in VR content?
  • Where are the inspiring examples of VR and immersive sound in arts and culture?
  • What are some of the challenges to creating rich immersive experiences?
