Treasurer, Board of Trustees

The Mosaic Rooms, a leading contemporary arts space based in London dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary culture from the Arab world and beyond, is seeking a treasurer for its new board of trustees.

The treasurer will have previous experience of financial management especially in a charitable and/or arts context and some auditing and accounting qualifications.

The treasurer has an overview of The Mosaic Rooms’ finances and is responsible for presenting and communicating them at Board level. You will be the lead for:

• Presenting financial reports at Trustee Meetings
• Risk reporting
• Advising on reserves policy
• Advising on and overseeing end of year accounts
• Acting as a signatory where relevant
• Supporting the Director in producing the management accounts and relevant reports for the Trustee meetings

The day-to-day management of the organisation’s financial records and operations is the responsibility of the Director, working with the Operations Manager and Bookkeeper.
