BBC’s Director of Arts is stepping down
JONTY CLAYPOLE is leaving the BBC next spring after seven years as its Director of Arts. Previously a programme-maker with the BBC’s arts department, he has been with the organisation for over 17 years. Claypole says he “will step aside to support the arts in new ways” and continues to Chair the board of trustees at HOME, Manchester.
