Leadership team confirmed at ENO

DR HARRY BRÜNJES, who has been acting Chairman of English National Opera (ENO) since its former chairman, MARTYN ROSE, stepped down earlier this year, has now been confirmed as ENO Chairman. CRESSIDA POLLOCK, who joined the executive team of ENO from management consultancy McKinsey& Company in March this year, takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer.

The ENO Board is evaluating the artistic leadership of the company following JOHN BERRY’s departure in July, but for the 2015/16 season, the artistic leadership team will comprise MARK WIGGLESWORTH as Music Director and TERRI-JAYNE GRIFFIN as Producing Director, with former Head of Casting JOHN MCMURRAY becoming Senior Artistic Advisor and BOB HOLLAND taking on the role of Programming Director. SOPHIE JOYCE becomes Head of Casting.
