The Cultural Learning Alliance asks what the latest Budget and Spending Review mean for culture and education.

On 27 October the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, presented his Autumn Budget and Spending Review for 2021. This sets out some tax and fiscal announcements for the coming year, as well as the spending limits (resource and capital) for every government department for the next three years.

The Chancellor’s documents come accompanied by an independent report from the Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR).
