Conservators answer call to help restore Glasgow School of Art

The fire, which started in the basement on Friday afternoon, badly damaged the west wing, including the Charles Rennie Mackintosh library. No injuries were reported. Over 90% of the structure is still viable and up to 70% of the contents have been saved. More than 100 conservators are standing by to help with the restoration and the Scottish government has said it will "support the funding effort required".
