Michelle Robinson

PhD student, School of Sports, Exerciseand Health Science at Loughborough University

Michelle Robinson is a graduate psychologist currently working towards a PhD in the School of Sports, Exercise and Health Science at Loughborough University. Her topic is exploring the 1:1 music teacher – musician relationship and its impact on performance outcomes and wellbeing. She is adapting research which evidences the importance of coach – athlete relationship quality on outcomes and wellbeing.

Robinson is also a musician and has worked in classical music and music education for 20 years as a vocal and choral specialist and event producer.
