Founder at Music in Offices
Tessa Marchington is founder of Music in Offices and co-founder of Investec International Music Festival.
An award-winning businesswoman and pianist, Tessa set up her company Music in Offices in 2007 in order to enrich business culture through the power of music. The company provides music lessons and sets up office choirs to improve access to the arts in high stress work environments, with clients including Channel 4, The Telegraph, L’Oreal, Standard Chartered, Linklaters and Lloyds Bank amongst others.
Tessa is also co-founder of Investec International Music Festival, which brings world-class music to the Surrey Hills from artists such as Nicola Benedetti. She has also served as Symposium Coordinator of – and will soon be Artistic Director of – Setúbal Music Festival, which enhances the cultural life of Portugal.
She was awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Music in Offices was made Associate of the Royal Academy of Music for her contributions to music-making.
