DAVID DIMBLEBY is stepping down as chairman of Towner Eastbourne in September.

The broadcaster and journalist has chaired the art gallery for more than a decade.

To mark the occasion, Dimbleby is co-curating an exhibition at the gallery with his daughter, artist LIZA DIMBLEBY, which will focus on drawing.

Director and Chief Executive of Towner Eastbourne, JOE HILL said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank David for his dedication and work on our behalf. What could be a more fitting end to his journey with us than to ask him to curate an exhibition with his daughter.”
