The Royal Academy of Arts has announced that LISA REUBEN and BIANCA RODEN will be joining its board.

A former specialist in the Contemporary Arts department at Sotheby’s London, Reuben continues to work in the art sector in various roles, including building an art collection on behalf of the Reuben Brothers.

She is a trustee of the Reuben Foundation and also founded the Reuben Scholar Alumni Programme. Reuben serves on the Sotheby’s International Council and sits on the advisory board of Reuben College at Oxford University.

Roden, an art collector, has previously worked as a speech and language therapist. She runs Xenia Creative Retreat in North Hampshire and is a trustee of Horatio’s Garden, the Contemporary Art Society and the Weizmann Science Institute.

She also serves on the Hayward Gallery Commissioning Committee for Southbank Outdoor Sculpture.

BATIA OFER, Chair of the Royal Academy Trust, said: "I am delighted at the appointments of Lisa  Reuben and Bianca Roden as trustees. With their breadth of experience in philanthropy and their passion for the arts, they will make great additions to our board."
