Theatre company Told by an Idiot has announced JENNIFER HOLTON as Executive Director following the departure of JENNI GRAINGER.

Having initially joined the organisation as Assistant Producer in 2015, Holton will now work alongside Artistic Director PAUL HUNTER as Joint Co-Chief Executive.

"To be entrusted with working alongside Paul to guide Told by an Idiot’s future as Executive Director and co-CEO is an absolute privilege," Holton said.

"I’m dedicated to realising Paul’s vision for the company through a sustainable business plan, championing innovation and accessibility, and ensuring the boundless creativity of Told by an Idiot reaches the widest possible audience."

Speaking on the appointment, Hunter said Holton's "passion, insight and ambition" have been at the heart of the company's success over the past decade.

"Her understanding of the company's ethos, her rigour and genuine commitment to access and collaboration made her an outstanding candidate," he said.
