Sponsored Content Options
Sponsored articles
You can speak directly to our readership by writing and sponsoring an article or a short series. Newly published articles are promoted through email and social media and remain on our website as a permanent resource that can be read by anyone who wants to find out more about a particular topic.
Sponsored articles are a good way to demonstrate your expertise, to provide context to specific issues, or share learning, advice and thought leadership with other people working in the arts sector. A stand-alone sponsored article costs £645 and can be branded with your logo if you wish. We can also offer a range of direct and display advertising opportunities to help you to draw attention to and sell your products, services, events or programmes of work. Advertising is better suited to giving all the details for forthcoming events or specifics about a product but can be timed to coincide with or alongside sponsored editorial.
Our editorial team would be happy to give advice on reader engagement if this option is of interest to you. Articles of up to 1,000 words are accepted in response to an agreed editorial brief.

Editorial partnerships
What is an Editorial Partnership?
We seek a wide range of editorial partners to write sponsored articles for us on a regular basis. Our partners have particular relevance, important things to say on current concerns, bring unique perspective, or give valuable insights to our readers. Each unique partnership is given a special area on our website where their collection of articles is presented.
Partnership packages include a series of editorial content in written, audio or video format combined with discounted advertising to help you to draw attention to and sell your products, services, events or programmes of work. We think we are in a good position to help you to attract significant attention to your campaigns and reach beyond your own networks. .
Exclusive Partnership Benefits
We offer our editorial partners a range of exclusive benefits to ensure high visibility:
- We publish up to 10 of your articles over a 12-month period, to reinforce your work and your brand over a sustained period.
- Articles are branded with your corporate identity, to support brand recognition across our readership.
- We publish your content as part of our regular editorial content. We also create a microsite of your content within our site.
- All partnership articles in our archive and the microsite are open to all readers.
- Our editorial team work closely with you to identify themes that will generate the most interest among our readers, and help you to style your contributions to attract and hold readers’ attention.
- We offer a 20% discount on display advertising, event listings, recruitment advertising, and solus emails.
- Your logo – and our partnership – will be published on our home page. You’ll be our first call when our news team is looking for experts to comment on relevant news stories.
Why be a Partner?
If you looking to share your values, knowledge and experiences with arts sector leaders, decision-makers, influencers, and the wider sector, then an editorial partnership could be a good solution for you. A partnership offers a platform to establish voice and reputation over a period of time, to demonstrate expertise in the field or make a call for change. A partnership can give your brand the exposure, profile and positioning you need to get you noticed and build trust by those who use and value your products, services or advice. Or, a partnership could work for you if you need to disseminate news, information, share learning or good practice. A partnership provides an opportunity to amplify your thought leadership, and position your organisation as experts in your field.
Some of our partners are suppliers to the cultural sector involved in functions such as finance, marketing or ticketing, while others have a more arts-specific remit. Over the years, they have included organisations and businesses involved in a wide range of activities, including:
- Art Fund: Getting to know your audiences
- Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy: Fundraising for the future
- Arts Marketing Association: Making arts marketing work for everyone
- Baker Richards: Achieving commercial potential
- British Council – China Now: A digital platform for UK arts professionals
- Centre for Cultural Value: Making research and evaluation count
- Figurative: Finance that supports ambition
- Five10twelve: Cultural placemaking: A catalyst for regeneration and renewal
- Heart of Glass: Imagining new futures through community arts
- National Centre for Academic & Cultural Exchange: Collaborations between HE and the arts & cultural sector
- Splitpixel: Inclusive digital spaces for an engaged audience
- Substrakt: Embracing digital
- The Audience Agency: Understanding audiences
- The Space: Online audience engagement and innovation
Options and Prices
Our editorial partnerships are very flexible, so you can choose from options that suits you best over a 12-month period.
A partnership costs a minimum of £400 a month for a 12-month period. This buys £6,000 of exposure at our rate card prices, discounted by 20%.
For example, a partner may choose to:
Write 6 x articles (6 x £645) = £3,870
Book an 4-week web banner = £650
Send two solus emails (2 x £1250) = £2,500
Book a 4-week premium event listing = £275
Total £7,295 less 20% = £5,836 or £486 per month
We strongly recommend that, for maximum effectiveness, an editorial partnership should extend for a 12-month period, but if price is the main barrier for you, we can under some circumstances work with partners for shorter periods of time.
