AIM appoints new Chair team

ANDREW LOVETT will be Chair of The Association of Independent Museums, with MARILYN SCOTT and CAROLINE WORTHINGTON acting as Vice Chairs.

The Association announced the appointments after its 25 February board meeting. Lovett has 20 years' experience in the museums, leisure, arts and heritage sectors, including senior roles at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, NewcastleGateshead and most recently as Chief Executive of Black COuntry Living Museum.

Scott has held roles at the V&A, the Science Museum and The National Trust. Worthington is an experienced curator and the current Director of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
