Benslow Music has selected PETER COLLYER as its new Head of Music and Learning.

He replaces CHRISTOPHER ROBERTS, who stepped down for a post at York's National Centre for Early Music.

A former Head of Music Performance at Oxford University and University of Southampton, Collyer has also taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity Laban Conservatoire.

More recently, he was Morley College’s Head of Music and the Performing Arts. He is currently a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

“I have always admired Benslow Music, with its wonderful reputation for music making opportunities and outstanding programme of public concerts, and therefore it’s a huge honour to be joining the team at this time,” Collyer said.
