Birchenough reappointed to Arts Council England

The Secretary of State has reappointed HELEN BIRCHENOUGH as South West Area Chair of Arts Council England (ACE) for a four-year term, commencing 5 December.

Birchenough began her career in advertising and brand development and now represents ACE National Council on the Acceptance In Lieu and Cultural Gifts Schemes.

She has served as trustee and chair for a number of organisations including Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury International Arts Festival, Wiltshire College and Wiltshire Community Foundation.

She is currently a board advisor for Messums Wiltshire, a multi-purpose gallery and arts centre.
