Board appointments at New Writing North

Six new board members are joining New Writing North from publishing and industry, at a point when the organisation is planning to establish a centre for writing and publishing in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are: MARY CANNAM, Chief Operating Officer at Faber and Faber; CLARE HARINGTON, formerly Communications Director for Hachette UK; SARA LLOYD, Communications Director at Pan Macmillan; MARK DOBSON, an independent cultural consultant; chartered surveyor JOHN SEAGER; and solicitor JULIE BOAKES.
