Chichester Festival Theatre welcomes new Chair

MARK FOSTER will be Chair of Chichester Festival Theatre from March.

He takes over from outgoing Chair WILLIAM CASTELL, who held the position for 11 years.

A former Senior Vice President of IBM Services & Global Business Services, Foster became global Chairman IBM Consulting earlier this year. He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) board for nine years and is currently on the RSC Artists Circle and Americas board.

He said: "I am looking forward to working with [Artistic Director] Daniel Evans, [Executive Director] Kathy Bourne and the rest of the CFT team to continue the important contribution of this amazing institution."
