Fictionhouse appoints McLaughlin as Head of Development

Fictionhouse, the newly established independent producing company developing and making drama, has announced EMILY MCLAUGHLIN as Head of Development, starting in June. Currently Director of the New Work Department at the National Theatre, where she leads a team of dramaturgs, she started her career at the Royal Court in the Young Writers Programme team and subsequently worked there as Artistic Associate for nine years.  

At Fictionhouse she will be working with founders Dominic Cooke and Kate Horton, producing distinctive drama for television, film and theatre, working with top writing, acting and directing talent.
