Jo Stevens joins Shadow Cabinet

Welsh Labour Party MP JO STEVENS has been appointed as Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport following the election of Keir Starmer as Labour party leader and Leader of the Opposition.

Stevens was elected as the MP for Cardiff Central in the May 2015, and was previously Shadow Secretary of State for Wales from 2106-17. Before becoming an MP she was People and Organisation Director of Thompsons Solicitors. She succeeds TRACY BRABIN who had been in post since January 2020 and has been appointed as Shadow Minister for the Cultural Industries.
