Knight named Octagon Theatre Chair

DARREN KNIGHT is Octagon Theatre’s new Chair.

He succeeds CLAIRE MORELAND, who steps down at the end of the month after six years.

Currently Chief Executive of George House Trust, Knight has been a member of Octagon’s board of trustees since November 2020.

He says he is honoured to become the Bolton theatre’s new Chair.

“The Octagon is a beloved part of Bolton’s DNA that champions the local and regional theatre landscape and is dedicated to supporting the needs of its community.

“I hope to continue in the wonderful footsteps of Claire, who leaves big shoes to fill.”
