Lawal joins Eclipse Theatre

LEKAN LAWAL is Eclipse Theatre's new Artistic Director and Joint Chief Executive.

Lawal begins this month, with his first job to find a new board chair and executive director to work alongside. 

Lawal previously worked as HOME Manchester's Creative Associate Director and is currently Resident Director on Hamilton and a Hackney Showroom Associate Artist.

"Eclipse was built on the recognition of a need to represent, honour and elevate the stories of artists and communities that are often marginalised, a responsibility that, in the current climate, feels more vital than ever," he said.
