TOMAS WRIGHT has been appointed Technical Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).

Wright joins from Birmingham Repertory Theatre, where he has worked since 2002.

RSC has also appointed JUSTINE THEMEN and SANDEEP MAHAL as its first Leadership Associates.

The pair will work on a part-time basis through to September as part of RSC's commitment to diversify the voices leading and governing the organisation.

Three new Digital Fellows have been announced: KIRSTY HOUSLEY, ADAM CLARKE and BEN GLOVER will explore how new technologies could shape theatre in the future.
