New Centre Director for Dance Base Scotland

Dance Base Scotland has announced that ISABEL MOURA MENDES is joining as its inaugural Centre Director. In this new position she will be a part of the senior leadership team and deputise for the Chief Executive when needed. Currently Head of Culture England & Culture Advisor UK for Creative Europe Desk UK at the British Council, she has also worked at Film Africa, Africa in Motion and Iberodocs, and is a board member of performance company Curious Seed and contemporary performance festival Take Me Somewhere. She will join the Edinburgh-based dance centre in the new year.
