Abandon Normal Devices has appointed JOHN HERRING as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

He worked for over 20 years in the public sector, including the Department for Work and Pensions and the NHS, and in 2016 he worked on the devolution of Health and Care across Greater Manchester, addressing areas including leadership and cultural challenges while implementing the Mayor’s plan.

In 2008 he founded the Salford Music Cooperative and has worked in partnership with Unconvention, raising awareness of the mental health challenges which artists experience.

He replaces HOWARD RIFKIN, who held the position for seven years.
