New Chair for Dance Base Scotland

Dance Base Scotland has announced ROBERT DAWSON SCOTT as its new Chair of the board. He has extensive experience serving at board level and in the arts sector he is a Council Member for the Scottish Society of Playwrights and was Founder, first Convenor and Director of the Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland.

As a playwright, he has had work produced at Mull Theatre, Gilded Balloon and Play, Pie and a Pint. Much of his professional career has been as a journalist, working for BBC Radio Scotland, Sunday Times Scotland, Scotsman Publications, The Times, and Lion Television. He succeeds ED CROZIER who left last month.
