New Creative Director at Manchester International Festival

LOW KEE HONG has been appointed Manchester International Festival's (MIF) next Creative Director. He takes up the post in April.

In his new role, Kee Hong will help develop artistic programming for The Factory and lead on the future shape and programme for the biannual festival.

Kee Hong is currently Head of Theatre, Performing Arts at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority in Hong Kong and was previously Artistic Director and General Director of Singapore Arts Festival.

He was also Founding Director and General Manager of the Singapore Biennale.

He said he admires MIF for its "bold take on what tomorrow could look like".

"I look forward to working with a team of amazing humans who firmly believe the extraordinary and transformative experience of the arts for our communities as we build towards futures we all want to be part of."
