New faces at Dancers Career Development

IKRAM HIRSE is the new Operations Manager and ABIGAIL WATSON is Director of Development at Dancers Career Development (DCD).

Hirse is a graduate of a Masters in grant making, philanthropy and social investment, an RSA fellow, and Treasurer of the Black Muslim Forum. 

Watson has worked for The Wordsworth Trust and fundraised for Sheffield Museums, Northern Ballet and Sheffield Theatres. She served as a Trustee for Arts on the Run for four years.

DCD has also announced 10 new trustees are joining its board. Board chair ZOE VAN ZWANENBERG said the group includes current and former dancers and DCD alumni from different genres and backgrounds.

"They will all contribute unique perspectives to our work supporting dancers."
