New leader as Tamworth Assembly Rooms prepares to re-open

Theatre director, producer and playwright ADEY RAMSEL has been appointed to lead Tamworth Assembly Rooms, which is due to reopen in the New Year following a £5m refurbishment. He was previously at the Regal Theatre in Worcestershire, where he spent three years introducing live theatre, creating a 60-seat black box studio space and writing shows. He joins the team in the Tamworth Arts & Events department, which runs the Assembly Rooms on behalf of Tamworth District Council.
