Opera North refreshes senior management team

Opera North has announced changes to its senior management team, including DAVID COLLINS' appointment as Executive Director / Deputy CEO.

Collins' new role will support the company's expansion and align with key focus areas: audience development, marketing, and digital with business and commercial functions.

Director of External Affairs at Opera North since 2016, Collins is a trustee of Opera Europa, the Association of European Opera Companies and Pilot Theatre.

Opera North's Head of Marketing EMILY SIMPSON has been appointed to the new role of Director of Audiences, and General Manager of the Howard Assembly Room RICHARD ASHTON has become Director of Operations.

Opera North will also be recruiting a new Director of Development.
