Oxford announces new Director of Performance

The University of Oxford's music faculty has appointed ROSALIND VENTRIS as its new Director of Performance and Performance Studies.

A viola player, Ventris has enjoyed an international career as a soloist, chamber musician, teacher and researcher. 

"There is enormous potential to build connections and spark new ideas between the many different communities across the city and university," she said.

Ventris replaces DR PETER COLLYER, who served as Interim Director during the past academic year.
