The Reader welcomes new trustees
Charity The Reader has appointed five new trustees.
NEIL ATKINSON, CEO of multimedia group The Anfield Wrap, Shropshire-based GP HELEN WILLOWS and The Peel Institute CEO OLU ALAKE will oversee The Reader's charitable work.
KELLY SPELLS , Commercial Director of HarperCollins imprints HQ and Mills & Boon, and executive coach PAULINE HUGHES both take up board positions on The Reader's Community Interest Company.
The Reader's Chair ANITA MARSLAND called the new appointees "an exceptional group of leaders, readers, communicators and socially-minded people".
"The next five years is an exciting time for The Reader and the shared reading movement as we rebuild following the pandemic and strive to be an organisation that works for everyone."
