After 20 years at The Lightbox in Woking, Director MARILYN SCOTT will stand down in November.

A former member of the National Lottery Heritage Fund committee, she will move into full-time consulting in the arts and heritage sector. She is retaining her roles as Vice Chairman of The Association of Independent Museums (AIM) and Trustee at Brooklands Museum and The Weald and Downland Museum.

During her time with The Lightbox, Scott has led the organisation from being a small charity known as Woking Museum and Arts and Crafts Centre to becoming an award-winning gallery and museum welcoming 100,000 visitors per year to its £7.2m building.
