Shoreditch Town Hall appoints Byrne

BETH BYRNE will be the new Chief Executive Officer at Shoreditch Town Hall. She was recently the Executive Producer at Southbank Centre, where she led on producing and event management teams, and latterly their Touring and Performance, Comedy and Dance programmes. She joins the Town Hall next month, taking over from JAMES PIDGEON who will become Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre's Executive Director.

With more than 20 years’ experience producing work for the stage, Byrne’s career began in creative producing as Sam Mendes' Literary Manager at the Donmar Warehouse and Neal Street Productions. She was Associate Producer of the National Theatre's transfer of War Horse to the West End before becoming Executive Director for theatre company Cheek by Jowl, where she is now a Trustee.
