Step into Dance appoints Community Artistic Coordinator

PAGAN DORGAN has been named as Step into Dance’s Community Artistic Coordinator, a newly created role at the company.

Step into Dance is a Royal Academy of Dance programme in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation. Dorgan’s role with see her coordinate Step into Dance’s offerings, with a focus on developing programmes that best service the needs of the participants.

Dorgan has over 25 years experience in the industry, including six years as leading educator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet. 

Since returning to London, she has been teaching at the Royal Ballet School’s Primary Steps programme, City Academy.

As a current Step into Dance practitioner, Dorgan says she is looking forward to working with the Step into Dance team in a different capacity and is excited about her future journey with the Royal Academy of Dance.
