Three Choirs Festival has named NAOMI BELSHAW as Chair amidst a number of board changes.

DAVID WHELTON has stepped down from the Board of Directors, DR DOMINIC HORNE is becoming Vice-Chair of the festival, and KATHERINE O'CARROLL is joining the board, having previously served in the Three Choirs Festival Society. Two more board positions will be recruited in the coming months.

Belshaw has worked across the music industry as an account manager, fundraiser, executive manager, and publicist. She owns a consultancy business that offers career advice to composers and artists.

Chief Executive DR ALEXIS PATERSON welcomed Belshaw and thanked outgoing Chair DR TIMOTHY O'BRAIN for his service.

"I’m grateful to Timothy for his dedication to the festival during my time as CEO and before, particularly in helping to bring about the successful merger of the three separate Three Choirs charities into a single unified organisation."
