JAYANTI SHAH and WANJIKU NYACHAE have joined youth arts charity Artswork’s board of trustees.

The Southampton-based organisation says the pair join at a key time, as it develops future delivery plans to make the arts and creativity available to everyone.

Engineer and businessman Shah is a director of Positive Message Ltd and co-founder of Black History Month South.

Nyachae is a former BBC World Service presenter who has worked in arts and culture for 25 years as a curator and producer.

Chair of Trustees NORINNE BETJEMAN welcomed the pair to the board.

“Their knowledge, skills and experience really complement those of our existing board members, and will be invaluable as we shape our future business plans.”
