Yeoh launches new course at Music Education Islington

Jazz pianist NIKKI YEOH has joined Music Education Islington (MEI).

Yeoh’s work with MEI started earlier this month, when she began teaching her new course, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Afrobeat, Experimental and beyond band practice.

The course supports students aged 6 to18 to develop their band and solo skills, whilst learning to improvise and perform with and in front of others.

Yeoh, a former Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year, also teaches at The Camden School for Girls and Portland Place School and runs jazz ensembles for Camden Music.
