The London Assembly is investigating the potential for culture-led regeneration to expand the capital’s artistic and creative offer, particularly in its outer regions.

Arts organisations are being invited to complete an online survey to share their thoughts about how London’s artistic communities and assets can be supported to grow. It asks about the challenges facing arts organisations, the role of cultural regeneration projects, and barriers to working in partnership with other organisations.

The survey is part of a wider investigation by the London Assembly Regeneration Committee into culture-led regeneration. The Committee has expressed concerns about the loss of grassroots music venues in London, as well as rising rents, declining funding and economic uncertainty affecting the arts sector.

The survey will remain open until 5 September.
