Northumberland Theatre Company to leave Alnwick Playhouse

A deal made with the Council will see the Playhouse refurbished as a “modern multi-purpose building” with a library, theatre spaces and tourist information services, while resident theatre company NTC – which lost regular Arts Council funding a few years ago – is to seek another base.
